The PIXCI® E8 supports more than 900 Extended, Full, Medium, Base, dual Base, and PoCL configuration Camera Link cameras.
The PIXCI® E8 offers:
- Supports the fastest Camera Link extended, full, medium, base, or dual base cameras.
- Optional PoCL support to provide camera power over a camera link cable.
- Camera specific controls - exposure, bit depth, gain, frame rate, etc.
- Camera operation in free-run mode for maximum frame rate sequence capture.
- Camera operation in control (trigger) mode.
- $1295.00 with XCAP-Lite imaging program.
Multiple PIXCI® E8 boards can be installed in the same computer.
The XCAP-Std program allows simultaneous use of the PIXCI® E8 with
other EPIX® frame grabbers supporting different camera models,
either Camera Link compatible or not. XCAP-Std also offers video-to-disk
capture, subject to the performance of the host computer's storage system.
The PIXCI® E8 is designed for the future.
The PIXCI® E8 can be used in a PC with a PCI Express x8 or x16 bus slot and at least 512 MB of memory,
and is designed to take advantage of larger computer memory systems made possible by 64-bit addressing.
The PIXCI® E8 board allows streaming
of image data directly to terabytes of computer memory,
allowing sequence capture for extended time periods.
